TIDAL POOL AND PAVILION

Burns Beach, Western Australia
Fall 2010

‘Civic’ school of thought is to be the manner to design the new tidal pool at beach level, as an accompanying pavilion building as well as to locate existing small pool and canopy. In order to connect back to the ideal and functional programme, the role of site, such as topography and situational forces, is taken as crucial influences in developing the initial ideas. The site takes place on Burns Beach, Western Australia.
